New Menu Launch at Liquid Lounge, Ramada Udaipur Resort & Spa!
When a globally acclaimed hotel chain is there in your beautiful city, you expect some great excitement from them quite often. And this time, Ramada Udaipur Resort & Spa is all set to tantalise your taste bud with a fresh and exciting new snacks menu at their in-house pub Liquid Lounge!
Executive Chef Uttam Singh Sajwan introduced these finger licking food menu with excellent options to choose in both vegetarian and nonvegetarian section.
The menu offers delighting snacks from different cuisines like Thai, Tex-Mex, Chinese, French, Mughlai as well as Rajasthani.
The first dish arrived on our table was a local delicacy, Rajasthani Mirchi Wada with a mint-coriander dip. The spicy potato stuffed Chilli fritters are one of the most famous snacks in Rajasthan and presented beautifully in a bowl made with Papad.

Meanwhile, our Cocktails arrived with a traditional appetiser from French cuisine, Crudités with a low-fat yoghurt dip. These freshly cut juicy veggies are a perfect companion to enjoy your choice of spirit.

Next was the Peri Peri Fish Finger. Trust me; I can bet my entire wealth behind this dish. They are not using Basa here in this spicy fingers. If you love fish, then you will thank almighty for this excellent preparation with a perfect balance of spices the very moment you take a bite. Served with an Indian curry flavoured Mayonnaise Dip.

The fingers were then followed by a tough challenger, Batter Golden Fried Prawns. The medium sized prawns were fried in a beer batter and served with a custom-made sweet chilli sauce. We were left in a split for a while with these two beautiful dishes from the river.

Next was Ajwani Fish Tikka where the fish cubes were cooked in a tandoor oven and flavoured with typical Indian spices with a top note of Caraway seed's taste.

And then we were introduced to two of their most signature recipes, Gilafi Mutton Ke Seekh and Schezuan Glaced Meat Balls.
Two minced mutton delicacy from two different cuisines but both were cooked to perfection. The freshness of various spices and especially the medley of pepper in the Seekh left us with a pleasant aftertaste.

After a while, we were served a couple of Chicken snacks, Murg Angara Tikka and Chicken Wings. The tikkas were marinated with typical Indian style spices and cooked in a traditional mud oven. Whereas the Chicken Wings were prepared in Oriental Style.

We took a pause from the tasting and met Chef Uttam Singh Sajwan and F&B Manager Mr Mrinal Saxena to discuss their new plans and upcoming surprises for food lovers. Soon, they're going to launch a new menu for their family dining restaurant, Myra. Also excited to hear that they are planning to introduce Live Grill counters for their in-house guests to enjoy delicious food prepared fresh on the grill. Both Mr Saxena and Chef Sajwan worked in various 5-star luxury properties in the past across the country, and now they are all set to keep on bringing fresh new experiences here in Ramada, Udaipur.

We were back to our tasting table and resume with Spinach & Corn Triangles, Vegetable Chimichanga and a Nacho platter. The refried beans and cheese topped nachos were served with sour cream. The Chimichangas are definitely going to be a hit among vegetarians. The fried tortilla rolls were filled with vegetables and cheese and served with freshly made salsa.

There are some more options to choose from their snacks menu apart from the above-mentioned dishes that we tasted. All are reasonably priced and can be enjoyed with a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
We met one of the youngest and promising hoteliers from the city, Ms Dolly Tandar who is managing the resort successfully with her immense talent and energy. Ms Taldar is a seasoned hotelier with vast experience in working with global stalwarts from the industry across Europe and Middle-East.
I must say that though Ramada Udaipur Resort & Spa is one of the most favoured wedding destination in the city and a favourite among the tourists across the world while visiting Udaipur, they are taking an extra step to serve you delicious food with launch of these exciting new menu and some more upcoming surprises for food lovers of the city.
